Psoriasis is skin disease  that changes the  life cycle of skin cells. Psoriasis  actually starts  from underneath the skin. Types of psoriasis:

·       Guttate psoriasis:

Guttete psoriasis  presently occur on arm, trunk, legs..          it is the  inherited genetic disorder. This type is  usually occur in round to oval lesions.

·       Inverse psoriasis:

 Inverse  psoriasis found in  armpits, groin,  under the breasts and  other folds of skin and shows very  red colour in folds. It is particularly subject to irritation of rubbing and sweating  because of its location of skin folds.

·       Pustular  psoriasis:

This type of psoriasis is uncommon form of psoriasis.  These type of bumps filled with white thick fluid composed of white blood cells called pus cells the skin around  under bumps  is red.  This type of psoriasis is affectively to men and women equally but it’s rare disease. 
·        Erythrodermic psoriasis:

    It is mostly occurs in  inflammation is surface of skin and rare type of psoriasis.  It causes the pain and itching and this cause  protein fluid loss that can leads to severe illness.

·        Scalp psoriasis: Affects approximately 50% of patients

·        Nail psoriasis: May be indistinguishable from, and more prone to developing, onychomycosis

·        Psoriatic arthritis: Affects approximately 10-30% of those with skin symptoms; usually in the hands and feet and, occasionally, the large joints

·  Oral psoriasis: May present as severe cheilosis, with extension onto the surrounding skin, crossing the vermillion border

·     Eruptive psoriasis: Involves the upper trunk and upper extremities; most often     seen in younger patients

SYMPTOMS OF PSORIASIS:

•            Reddish patches on the skin that causes itching
•            Patches may covered with a silvery-white coating
•            Irregular patches that cause sensation pain
•      Most patches appear on the knee, elbows, lower back and scalp
•            Skin  that thicken while scratching the itchy patches
•             Nail problems – pits in the nails, crumbling nail, nail falls off.
•             Swallow and stiff joints
•             Burning sensation and soreness

Complications of psoriasis:

Psoriatic arthritis:

 This complication of psoriasis can cause  joint damage and  loss of function in some joints.

 Eye condition:

People with psoriasis  more common in eye problems like conjunctivitis, blepharities (swelling of eye lids),uveitis (swelling or destroys eye tissue)etc..

 Obesity:

Obesity may play a role in development of psoriasis. People contain psoriasis and get more weight gain to become obese.

Type 2 diabetes:

People with psoriasis can cause type 2 diabetes, risk is more severe.

High blood pressure:

Cardiovascular diseases

Parkinson’s disease

Kidney disease

depression

These disease are linked with psoriasis.
